Day 5: Score the opportunity

Put the candidate opportunities beside each other so the company can choose where to focus. Use business impact, likelihood of success, adoption friction, time to evidence, and cost and risk, with a reason, evidence, and unknowns for every rating. Apply the hard gates and exact provisional bands.

Compare the explanations as well as the totals. The owner then chooses a test, preparation or measurement first, or a deliberate wait. Record why, which alternatives are deferred, and what would bring them back. If a test is appropriate, carry the selected scope into the experiment card.
