Part Six: Lead the Decision System — Chapter 12: Begin Monday
The method in one page
- Start with the business, not the tool.
- Find one costly friction.
- Map the capability around it.
- Name current and appropriate maturity.
- Score impact, plausibility, adoption, evidence speed, cost, and risk.
- Stop immediately at zero impact or zero adoption viability.
- Design the smallest useful experiment.
- Agree on evidence and guardrails before starting.
- Use real work and representative users.
- Stop, continue, invest, or industrialize.
- Manage decisions as a portfolio of outcomes.
- Ask what should stop.
This is not a one-time AI exercise. It is an operating discipline for making business choices while the technology keeps changing.
The tools will change. The need for judgment will not.
