Days 2–3: Map the capability

Now use the relevant cells of the 5x5 map to understand the capabilities around those possibilities. Observe the work and speak with users about where information, judgment, process, workflow, and governance support or compensate for one another.

Keep the current situation separate from proposed solutions. Record unknowns and the observations needed to resolve them. That gives the maturity discussion a basis and may reveal additional alternatives worth comparing.
