This appendix gives you questions to use throughout the method, from discovering how the business works to reviewing the portfolio. Choose the group that fits the current activity, briefly explain what you're trying to understand, and ask one question on its own. Listen to the whole answer before deciding what follows; you don't need to work through every prompt to have a useful conversation.
When someone says they don't know, record what needs looking at instead of filling in an answer for them. The questions should help people develop their own account of the work and decide what deserves attention next.
